Return & Refund Policy

At Juzéfa, we stand fully behind the quality of every piece we offer. This policy has been designed to be transparent, fair, and fully compliant with your statutory rights as a consumer within the European Union and the Republic of Cyprus.

Your 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

Under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), as implemented through Cyprus Consumer Protection Law 13(I)/2013, you have an unconditional right to withdraw from any online purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without providing any reason whatsoever.

The 14-day period begins on the day you, or a designated third party other than the carrier, physically receives the goods. For orders delivered in multiple shipments, the period begins upon receipt of the final item.

If the withdrawal deadline falls on a weekend or public holiday, it is automatically extended to the following working day. Should we fail to adequately inform you of this right prior to purchase, the cooling-off period is automatically extended by an additional 12 months under applicable law.

How to Initiate a Return

Contact us at [email protected] within the 14-day withdrawal window, stating your order number and intention to return.

You may optionally complete and submit the Model Withdrawal Form provided at the end of this policy. This is available as a standard option but is not mandatory.

Repackage the garment carefully in its original condition, with all tags and protective packaging intact.

Ship the item via an established courier. Return shipping costs are borne by you unless otherwise stated. We recommend ACS Courier or Akis Express for domestic returns.

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, your refund will be processed within 14 calendar days.

Condition of Returned Items

You are entitled to inspect and try on garments in the same manner as you would in a physical retail environment. However, items must be returned in a condition consistent with that ordinary inspection. Specifically:

  • All original manufacturer tags must remain attached and intact
  • Items must be free from odours, stains, marks, or evidence of wear beyond fitting
  • Original packaging should be included where possible

If a returned item shows evidence of use beyond ordinary inspection, we reserve the right to deduct a proportionate amount from your refund to account for diminished value. We maintain rigorous photographic records of all outgoing goods to substantiate any such assessment fairly and transparently.

Non-Returnable Items

Consistent with Articles 16 of the Consumer Rights Directive, the following categories are expressly excluded from the standard right of withdrawal:

Refunds

Once your return has been received and verified, we will process your refund within 14 calendar days. The refund will be issued using the same payment method used at the time of purchase, unless you have explicitly agreed to an alternative. We will not impose any additional fees for processing your refund.

In cases where a deduction for diminished value applies, you will be notified in writing with a clear explanation before any deduction is made.

Return Shipping Costs

Unless a return is the result of an error on our part or a verified product defect, the cost of returning goods rests with you, the consumer. This condition is clearly communicated here in accordance with applicable law. Recommended courier partners for domestic returns in Cyprus:

  • ACS Courier — home collection or branch drop-off available
  • Akis Express — includes 24/7 Smartpoint locker collection services

Average return transit time within Cyprus is 2–5 business days depending on your chosen service.

Defective & Faulty Goods

Your statutory 2-year legal guarantee under the Sale of Goods Law (Cap. 122) and applicable EU directives applies to all goods purchased from Juzéfa. If a product is found to be defective, not fit for its intended purpose, or materially misrepresented, you are entitled to:

  • Free repair or replacement of the item
  • A partial or full refund if repair or replacement is not feasible

If a defect manifests within the first 12 months of purchase, the law presumes the defect existed at the time of delivery. The burden of proving otherwise rests with us, not with you.
